About Click On French

What is the aim of this course ?

Click on French has been designed for beginners who have a basic knowledge in English and computers.
At the end of this online French course, you will be able to communicate in French (spoken and written) in most day to day situations. You will also get a recognized certification delivered by the Alliance Francaise network and which is a unique feature of our course, or an attestation.

What does Click on French offer you ?

1. The online course

This online course combines the advantages of a regular course with the Internet. Unlike other online language courses, our focus is on communication in French. So that's why Tara, an Indian student in France, takes you through different situations that a visitor in France may come across. This course is divided into 5 Units and each Unit is divided into 5 lessons.
At the beginning of each lesson, which is based on a specific situation, you have to listen to a dialogue.
We have designed a learning kit and various activities (grammar, vocabulary, culture, pronunciation) around this dialogue. At every step of this well structured course, you will be accompanied by a highly experienced coach with whom you can interact.

2. Offline learning kit

In addition to the online course, you will receive an offline learning kit :
1. An audio CD that contains the dialogues as well as notes on pronunciation so that you can improve your listening comprehension.
2. An exercise book.
3. A booklet which explains how to use the site.

What are the different packages offered ?

Click On French offers 3 different packages to fit everyone's needs, all of them with a 6-months validity period:

Basic Package : online course content + offline learning kit + attestation/certification
Package Plus : online course content + offline learning kit + access to Unit tests + personal coach from the Alliance Francaise network + attestation/certification
Privilege Package : online course content + offline learning kit + access to Unit tests + personal coach from the Alliance Francaise network + phone teaching sessions + attestation/certification + eligibility to the DELF A1 exam

What are the language levels available ?

For the moment we are offering you only an entry level course. This will enable you to speak French in the day to day situations.
However, we plan to add an intermediate and an advanced level soon. Contact us for more information.

How long is the course ?

This course is designed to be completed in 4 months. However, you could choose to complete it in six months maximum. The final date of your course will be indicated in the welcome email you will receive on authentication of your registration. Your password will not be valid beyond this date.

What if I forget my username or password ?

The user will be prompted for the username, in case of a forgotten password. The username and password will be emailed to the user. In case the user is unable to answer any of the above mentioned questions, he/she will have to contact the Administrator directly at the office.

Where are the Click On French Institutes located ?

Click On French is an e-learning website and offers French classes available on the Internet only. However, our students can walk in one of our partner's institutes, "Alliance Francaise", to join contact classes with their virtual classmates. In case a student lives far away from an Alliance Francaise but requires guidance concerning the course, he/she can benefit from a personal coach, an experienced teacher from the Alliance.

About the registration

How can I enroll for this course ?

To register, you can :

fill in the online Registration Form and then pay
If you are in India, come to any of the Alliance Francaise and fill in the Registration Form. You may pay by cash or Demand Draft.

What if I don't want to use a credit card ?

You may pay by Cheque or Demand Draft, payable in Delhi, which has to be received by us within 15 days of your filling out the registration form. If you live outside India, the only mode of payment you have is the credit card.

What is your refund policy

All the available packages can be refunded withing 7 days from the original date of purchase. Contact us at accountant@clickonfrench.com

In order to obtain a refund or exchange, you must provide your correct e-mail address and/or mailing address to Click On French. Click On French will not be liable for any claims of non-receipt of merchandise, and/or non-receipt of a Refund Claim Form that was a result of an incorrect email address and/or mailing address provided by you to Click On French. The customer is responsible for providing a correct/working e-mail address.

Fraudulent Credit Card Charges or Fraudulent Claims - All requests to negate charges are investigated by our technical department and legal department. If you make a fraudulent claim of unauthorized card usage, we will report this to the credit card services. This report may result in cancellation of your card services, put negative information on your credit report, and create possible criminal charges that may be filled against you.

About the online course

What is the course content ?

This course is divided into 5 Units and each of these Units is divided into 5 lessons. Each Unit is centered around a theme. At the beginning of each lesson which is based on a specific situation, you can listen to a dialogue. We have designed various activities (grammar, vocabulary, culture, pronunciation) around this dialogue. These five Units have been designed in such a way that you can work independently. However, the order of the Units will have to be respected. Apart from the personalized help from your tutor, a comprehensive set of online resources (such as a dictionary, a conjugator, the phonetic alphabet, the French keyboard ) is also available.

What are the lesson tests and the Unit tests ?

The lesson test is a set of comprehension questions that you will be required to answer after listening to the dialogue in each lesson. These questions will appear on the screen only after you have listened to the dialogue twice. Unit Test: at the end of each Unit, you will have to take a test which will be corrected and sent by your coach within 48 hours. You will have to take the tests in the order of the Units, otherwise you will not be able to attempt the activities of the subsequent Units. However, you will be able to listen to the dialogues

What is the difference between certification and attestation ?

There are 2 types of certifications, and one type of attestation that we can deliver to you :
DELF A1 Certification: This is an official exam which is different of Click on French, but Click on French is designed to make you reach the DELF A1 level and consequently to prepare you for this exam. It can be done only at the Alliance Francaise and at a given date. To know what are the official dates, you can contact your Alliance Francaise;
Click on French Certification: This is the Click on French certification. The exam will take place at the nearest Alliance Francaise. Students who clear this exam will receive a certificate signed by the Course Director of the Alliance Francaise and the Representative of the Alliance Francaise de Paris in the Embassy of France in India, New Delhi.
Attestation: For those of you who cannot come to the Alliance Francaise for taking the final exam or who do not wish to take it, you may apply for an attestation that indicates the number of Unit tests you have cleared (a test which will be corrected by your tutor can be taken at the end of each Unit). This attestation will be signed by the Course Director of the Alliance Francaise.

Why can't I move to the next lesson/Unit ?

In order to move to subsequent lessons, you should have taken your comprehension test, at the end of your dialogue.
In order to move to subsequent Units, you should have taken your Unit test.

When do I receive the certificate ?

You will receive the certificate within a month of your clearing the exam.

When do I receive the attestation ?

You will receive the attestation at the end of the online course, on request.

Why can't I access the course anymore? Or Why can't I login ?

If the period of validity of your course (ie) 6 months has expired, you will no longer be able to access the course. The final date of the course will be indicated in your welcome letter.

How can I meet other students ?

You may meet other students in the forum or in you virtual classroom. If you wish to communicate in English, click on Le Club, you can freely participate in the Forums and Chats. When you are ready to communicate in French, click on Table Ronde, here you can participate in Forums that revolve around a theme, chosen by one of the coaches.

Where do I update my personal information ?

You may update your profile by going to "Profile" and clicking on "My Profile".

About the Alliance Francaise network
